(JUVEDERM/RESTYLANE) Dermal fillers are a non-surgical procedure that restores volume to facial tissue and restores a smoother appearance to the face. Whether you want to plump a lip, correct hollowing under the eye, or fill in fine lines, our injectors will make sure you achieve the look that you desire. As our skin ages we lose collagen and hyaluronic acid, which causes the skins elasticity to decrease, giving the skin a deflated look. Dermal fillers are most commonly made up of various consistencies of hyaluronic acid, which allows folds and creases to be softly filled to help smooth the skin and reduce signs of aging.
We are using facial ultrasound for fillers.
How does BOTOX work?
BOTOX is injected into the area of concern with an ultra-fine needle that causes a blockage to the nerves of the facial muscles. This chemical response temporarily relaxes the facial muscles and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
How do dermal fillers work?
Dermal fillers are injected into areas of the skin where elasticity is lost, where skin is “sunk-in” or given a hallow appearance. The injections will fill in these areas of the skin, creating a natural and plump presentation.
Does INJECTABLES hurt?
Wrinkle relaxers and dermal filler are minimally invasive which causes little discomfort that is considered to be tolerable. After receiving injectables, the pain does not last after the procedure is finished.
When will I see results and how long do they last?
After dermal filler is injected you will see results immediately. Dermal filler may cause some additional swelling 24-48 hours after the injections are distributed and may take two weeks to fully settle. It will usually take about 5-10 days to see the final effects of BOTOX/DYSPORT, however each patient may vary.
When should I start getting BOTOX/DYSPORT?
Each patient will be evaluated by a medical professional to determine whether or not BOTOX is right for you. There is no “specific age” to start BOTOX/DYSPORT, however we recommend as early as your twenties for preventive care.
How do I know dermal fillers are for me, instead of BOTOX/DYSPORT?
First, you will have a consultation appointment with one of our medical professionals who will then advise you on what will work best for your skin. Dermal fillers will plump and fill areas that have lost smoothness and volume by using hyaluronic acid. Whereas BOTOX temporarily paralyzes facial muscles in order to prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.
